Ich hatte eine sch\u00f6ne Zeit mit Ihr erleben d\u00fcrfen. Nun soll diese M\u00f6glichkeit f\u00fcr andere auch offenstehen.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"#EnglishVersion\">English Version below.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Ich habe die nOa aus erster Hand von dem Erbauer als Projekt \u00fcbernommen. Sie lag damals in Lemmer im Wasser ist aber noch nie gesegelt, die Segel lagen noch unausgepackt in der Vorderkaj\u00fcte. Der Bau ist im Jahr 2000 begonnen und die nOa ist dann 2016 von mir segelfertig fertiggestellt worden.<\/p>\n<p>Die nOa ist von einem Maschinenbauingenieur in Eigenregie erbaut worden. Leider ist er an Alzheimer erkrankt und konnte so seinen Lebenstraum nicht verwirklichen. Das Gute and der Sache ist allerdings, das alle Schwei\u00dfarbeiten am Rumpf von Profis ausgef\u00fchrt wurden. Alle mechanischen Teile sind in CAD konstruiert und k\u00f6nnen sie komplett am Rechner angeschaut und nachvollzogen werden. Sollten \u00c4nderungen n\u00f6tig sein, kann dies komplett in der Zeichnung erweitert und sofort weltweit in einer Werkstatt in die Produktion gegeben werden.\u00a0 Alles was dann noch bis zur Fertigstellung gefehlt hatte konnte ich dann selber mit meinem Wissen der Totalrestauration der RazFaz in der Meidericher Schiffswerft in Duisburg erledigen. Die Idee in der nOa ist alles minimalistisch zu halten und auf Schnickschnack der nur kaputtgehen kann zu verzichten. KISS (Keep It Stupid Simple) war das Zauberwort f\u00fcr den Erbauer und den Fertigsteller. So sind viele Standardbauteile der Mechanik und Elektrik verwendet worden, die im Maschinenbau und der Elektrotechnik wieder zu finden sind. Das sorgt auf der einen Seite f\u00fcr gute langlebige Komponenten auf der andere Seite f\u00fcr eine gute Ersatzteillage.<\/p>\n<p>Vor der nOa hatte ich keine Reinke gesegelt, aber die Konstruktion hat wirklich Vorteile, der niedrige Tiefgang zusammen mit dem Kimmkiel ist mir in den Spanischen Rias h\u00e4ufiger von Vorteil gewesen. Der Gittermast der ja auch gleichzeitig Maststufen beinhaltet sind mir als Einhandsegler eh ein Segen. So kann ich allein nur mit einer Bergsteigersicherung hinauf. Edelstahl als Mastmaterial l\u00e4sst sich einfach reparieren und ist in der Konstruktion leichter als Aluminium.<\/p>\n<p>Eine Stehh\u00f6he von 1,95 (au\u00dfer in der Achterkaj\u00fcte) ist auch f\u00fcr gro\u00dfe Menschen von Vorteil. Ich habe die nOa in all der Zeit Einhand gesegelt, auch die Baumfock macht dies m\u00f6glich. At that time, she was in the water in Lemmer but had never been sailed. The sails were still unpacked in the front cabin. Construction began in 2000, and I completed the nOa, ready for sailing, in 2016.<\/p>\n<p>nOa was built by a mechanical engineer. Unfortunately, he developed Alzheimer&#8217;s disease and could not finish his dream. However, all the welding work on the hull was carried out by professionals. All mechanical parts were designed in CAD and can be fully viewed and redesigned on the computer. If modifications are needed, they can be easily added to the drawings and immediately sent to a workshop worldwide for production.<\/p>\n<p>Everything that was still missing for completion, handled myself using the expertise I gained during the complete restoration of the RazFaz at the Meiderich Shipyard in Duisburg. The philosophy behind the nOa is to keep everything minimalist and avoid unnecessary features that could fail. &#8222;KISS&#8220; (Keep It Simple, Stupid) was the design principle for both the original builder and myself. Many standard components in the mechanics and electronics were used, which are commonly found in mechanical and electrical engineering. This ensures, on one hand, durable, high-quality components and, on the other hand, excellent availability of replacement parts.<\/p>\n<p>Before the nOa, I hadn\u2019t sailed a Reinke, but the design truly has its advantages. The shallow draft, combined with the bilge keel, proved to be highly beneficial in the Spanish Rias. The lattice mast, which also includes mast steps, has been a blessing for me as a single-handed sailor. This way, I can climb up using just mountaineering safety equipment. Stainless steel as a mast material is easy to repair and, in this design, is lighter than aluminum.<\/p>\n<p>The height of 1.95 meters (except in the aft cabin) is also a great advantage for tall people.
